Farmer Pro Release Notes – June 2021

Enhancement Summary

  • Online – Add ability for Org Admins to transfer devices to different organization
    • We have added additional functionality to the devices tab which allows the org admin of the account to transfer devices to any other organization that they are a member of. The display connection doesn’t move with the transfer, so the user must have a valid display connection in the desired account to connect the display.

  • Mobile – Add ability for a new operator to move a completed Work Order to In-Progress
    • Initially, the Android version of the app was not supporting the scenario where a new operator could move a Completed Work Order to In-Progress. The iOS app was creating a new task when the In-Progress option was selected.
    • We have updated this feature to allow the user to “join” the Work Order if they were never a part of it initially. We have also added the ability to update the Work Order status from “completed” to “in-progress” on the Work Order list view.

Bug Fixes

  • Mobile – (iOS and Android) – Incorrect fertilizer actual calculation
    • When adding more than one fertilizer to a fertility job in mobile, it was reported that the guaranteed nutrients was only displayed for the second material added, when it should be calculating that number off of both nutrients.
    • Fix: This has been corrected and the correct guaranteed analysis is showing when creating a job with multiple fertilizers
  • Mobile – (iOS and Android) – Sync error occurs after swipe-sync on Work Orders tab
    • When using the swipe-sync function on the Work Orders tab in mobile, it was reported that an error message intermittently appeared: “There is a synchronization error, data may not have been updated correctly”. This would also cause the sync arrows to stay green after syncing again.
    • Fix: This has been corrected and the error message no longer appears when syncing from the Work Orders tab
  • Mobile – (iOS and Android) – “Other Expenses” added online – mobile sync issue
    • It was discovered that when adding “other expenses” online, and then syncing to mobile, only the most recent addition added would display, but no “other expenses” added prior to that would display in mobile.
    • Fix: This has been corrected and “other expenses” are now displaying correctly in mobile
  • Mobile – (iOS and Android) – Zone recommendation missing zones on mobile app
    • When a zone based fertilizer application was created online and then synced to mobile, there were some instances where it would only display one zone from the zone set in mobile, but it would not display the other zones or the rates to be applied to those zones.
    • Fix: This has been corrected and zone based applications are now appearing correctly in mobile
  • Mobile – (Android) – Chemical applications in legacy field manager not sending chemical to mobile
    • When creating a chemical application on legacy field manager, when that application was synced to mobile it would not display the chemical information. The job would show on mobile, but the chemical information would be blank. This would only happen for chemicals, fertilizers would display without issue.
    • Fix: This has been corrected and chemical information displays correctly when the job is created in legacy field manager
  • Online – Equipment Activity task duplicated when editing
    • When editing and saving a task under equipment activity in online, a duplicate task would appear. Refreshing the page would remove the duplicate task but it was still causing some confusion for growers.
    • Fix: This has been corrected and editing a task will no longer create a duplicate task
  • Online – Liquid rates change to 0 when creating prescription
    • When creating a recommendation in field manager, it was reported that any tank containing liquid products would have the rate change to 0, even after setting the correct rate. When using dry products everything worked as expected, but you were unable to get the correct rates to save for a tank containing liquid products.
    • Fix: This has been corrected and tanks containing liquid products no longer have issues getting the correct rates to save
  • Online – PHI reporting days as hours in web
    • There was a reported issue where an application on mobile is created, and the PHI reported in hours, as expected. When that application was synced to online, the PHI was reporting in days instead of hours.
    • Fix: This has been corrected and PHI is reporting correctly on web and mobile
  • Online – Guaranteed analysis on fertilizer requirement summary not consistent with field programmer
    • When producing the fertilizer requirement summary report, it was reported that the guaranteed analysis did not match what showed under field programmer.
    • Fix: This has been corrected and the guaranteed analysis is consistent in both pages.
  • Mobile – (iOS and Android) – Duplicate fertilizer entry on mobile when using quick blender
    • When using the quick blender to create fertilizer applications, it was reported that the application would be duplicated when synced to mobile, but would appear correct online.
    • Fix: This has been corrected and when using the quick blender the fertilizer applications sync correctly to mobile.
  • Mobile – (iOS) – Recommendation on mobile not saving to actuals
    • When a recommendation was created and synced to mobile, and then it was saved to actuals in mobile, the application would stay under the recommendations tab instead of moving to actuals.
    • Fix: This has been corrected and you can now convert recommendations to actuals in mobile.
  • Mobile – (iOS and Android) – Bins showing multiple varieties after reset
    • Under the Bins tile in mobile, it was reported that once a bin has been reset, it just displays “multiple” instead of showing the varieties in that bin.
    • Fix: This has been corrected and the varieties display correctly after a bin reset.
